The OPPO Reno 10 5G looks pretty similar to its “Pro” siblings. You get a glass sandwich body with a curved finish on both sides.There is a pill-shaped camera module. The company ships this phone in two color options: Ice Blue and Silvery Grey.
The Reno 10 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with curved sides for a premium look. This is a Full HD+ resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It supports 1.07 billion colors, a wide color gamut (P3), and 950 nits of peak brightness.
While the Chinese variant of the Reno 10 featured Snapdragon 778G. Oppo has replaced it with Dimensity 7050 on the global model. This is a new 5G-ready SoC from MediaTek previously seen in Lava Agni2 and Realme 11 Pro+. Providing a balance between power and performance is TSMC’s 6nm fabrication process.
The chip is coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also has support for an additional 8GB of virtual RAM . As expected, its storage is non-expandable. And the Reno 10 boots on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
Camera
It consists of a 64MP primary, a 32MP telephoto unit with 2x lossless zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide snappe.The Reno 10 Pro and Pro+, OPPO’s for image processing. Up front, you are looking at a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Fueling the device is a 5,000mAh battery which is actually bigger than what we get in the Chinese model. On the downside, the peak charging speed has dropped from 80W to 67W. In terms of wireless connectivity options, you get 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, the smartphone features an in-display fingerprint scanner and 2D face unlock for biometrics.
