Design and Display

In terms of design, there is a striking similarity in the design aspect of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and the Nord 3. This device also equips an infrared (IR) blaster on the top. Sadly, OnePlus’ iconic alert slider is not here, which the Nord 3 does have.

Moving on, the Nord CE 3 features slightly curved edges and a centered hole-punch cutout at the top for the selfie camera. As for the display, you get a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus ships this phone in two colors: Aqua Surge and Gray Shimmer.

Performance

Running the shown on the core is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset. It is a successor to the widely popular Snapdragon 778G mobile silicon. This new SoC is based on a 6nm process and adapts the 1+3+4 architecture. So, you get one Cortex A-78 cores running at 2.7GHz, three at 2.4GHz and four Cortex A-55 cores at 1.8GHz.

In terms of memory and storage, the CE 3 Lite 5G is available in two trims: 8/128GB and 12/256GB. For software, the Nord CE 3 boots on Android 13 OS, customized with OnePlus Oxygen OS 13.1.

Camera

Getting to the optics, the smartphone rocks a triple camera setup with an LED flash on the rear. It is headlined by a primary 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS. Accompanying the main camera is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle unit and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the smartphone houses a 16MP camera on the hole-punch cutout.

Battery and Others

Additionally, the smartphone packs a sizable 5,000mAh battery, supporting fast charging capabilities of up to 80W. OnePlus ships the 80W SuperVOOC charger bundled in the box. Talking of the connectivity options, the phone includes 5G, WiFi 6, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C 3.1 port. Furthermore, you get a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometrics security.
