The Honor X6a continues the flat frame design with a square camera bump. The camera module remains large like on the X6 and houses three cameras. As expected, the phone goes with an all-plastic build. Honor ships this phone in two color options: Cyan Lake and Midnight Black.Talking of the display, the X6a sports a 6.56-inch TFT LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels). The dewdrop notch gets a 90Hz refresh motion and bears a 20.15:9 aspect ratio.
Powering the smartphone from under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. This 4G silicon is fabbed under a 12nm process and features four Cortex-A53 at 2.2GHz and the other four at 1.8GHz. It is accompanied by a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Memory variants of the device include 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. On the software side, the Honor X6a ships with Android 13-based Magic UI 7.1.
Cameras
The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. No ultrawide sensor as on the X6. While for selfies and video calls, you get a 5MP snapper.
The Honor X6a gets its fuel from a 5,200mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. As standard with phones in this price range, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. Furthermore, you get 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity.
